In continuing on with the theme of musical manipulation, I'm about to let you in on a little secret. This secret has been with me for most of my TV and movie viewing life, and has rarely failed me in it's accuracy. The secret? Music can tell you what's going to happen in a movie or TV scene before it actually plays out on your screen. Yes, that's right. Music is a spoiler, and a very good one, at that.

Gossip Girl and I have an on-again/off-again relationship at this point. I'll catch the show if I'm home, but I am less and less invested in the characters and stories. Long ago, however, I fell for Blair Waldorf as a character, and fully invested in her story, and that's a hard thing to switch off. I find myself a dying breed: Blair stan. In the midst of all this Chair vs. Dair vs. Nair vs. Lair, I feel like concern for Blair as a character on her own has gotten misplaced, twisted, or just plain forgotten. Who is the real Blair, and what/who is honestly best for her right now? In an attempt to answer these questions, I've taken a dive into all things Blair Cornelia Waldorf. The ever-increasing and often disparaging cries over who the "real" Blair Waldorf is made me want to find some answers, so here we go!

I can't tell you how much I have come to love this show. It is so completely endearing to me, and I am embarrassingly sad about having to wait so long now to see more. Boo!

After sitting on my frustration long enough, I finally decided to put some sense into the madness, and came up with a bit of meta on the concept of music as an emotional manipulator in the medium of television.
